John is a music producer, composer, and lecturer with extensive industry experience. His portfolio includes scoring and sync work for renowned brands such as Channel 4, BBC, Sony Ericsson, Nespresso, and TV Western, among others.
In addition to production work, John is a Higher Education Academy (HEA) fellowship-awarded lecturer with over 11 years of experience delivering undergraduate BA programs, as well as various professional and accredited courses in mixing and music production.
As an artist, John has released three albums and numerous singles on indie labels, along with remix projects for the Manic Street Preachers (Sony). These works have received radio play on stations including XFM, BBC 6 Music, and Radio 1, with the most recent single ranking among Beatport’s top tracks of 2023.
With over five years of experience as a session musician, John has collaborated with some of the UK’s leading acts and is also professionally trained as a sound and mix engineer.
A notable career milestone came in 2021, when the British Library invited John to have an album released on VSLI Records archived as part of the nation’s audio and cultural heritage collection.
